This is just a lazy outfit I wore today to go to lectures. I'm actually wearing jeans, which is very unusual for me! I generally stick to leggings, jeggings and tights. But I bought these Topshop jeans the other day, in the hope that they'll give me lots of inspiration for new outfits. Just gotta get used to wearing them again! The Converse are also new, I was fed up with getting wet feet in the rain from wearing cheap primark shoes, so I thought I'd treat myself.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 7

Shade 7

I think it's a shame that none of the lipsticks have individual names, but for £1 you can't really complain. Shade 6 is a gorgeous light coral colour with pink tones. For me it's definitely a 'my lips but better' type of lipstick. It applies really easily and is perfect for everyday wear. This lipstick is definitely the one I've been wearing the most, I love it! The pigmentation is great, and I touch it up every few hours.

Check out the MUA website or Superdrug to get your hands on some lovely, cheap make-up! I'm definitely gonna be buying more from this range.

MUA Lipstick Review - Shade 1

A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing the make-up aisle in Superdrug and came across the MUA (Make-Up Academy) stand. I've bought a couple of items from this brand before, but never the lipsticks. So I picked up two, and then went back for another, and now I'm pretty tempted to go back and buy even more. They are superbly cheap at only £1! So here's a review of the first shade:

Shade 1

The lipstick itself looks quite a dark red, but on my lips and on the swatch above it definitely comes out as a true red, which is perfect. All of the photos were taken without flash, so as you can see, it has a slight glossy finish on the lips. I've never worn a red lipstick before, so this is a great one to start with. It was quite difficult to apply, but I assume a lot of reds would be. I'd definitely recommend using a lip brush! But other than that, the colour's great and it didn't stain my lips. Just gotta find the confidence to wear it out now!

OOTD: Supercosy Polka-dots

This was such a comfy outfit I wore just to spend a few hours in the library the other day. I'm wearing my new Ark blouse that I posted in my last haul, and one thing I forgot to include was my Primark supercosy tights. I've never had these before, but I've noticed a few people mention them on their blogs, and now I don't know how I survived without them! If you don't know, they're very thick tights with fleece on the inside! They keep me so toasty, they're even warmer than leggings. So I'd definitely recommend them, especially after the freezing cold weather we've had the last few days.

I'm really pleased with everything I've picked up. It's been a while since I've had a few successful shopping trips! I have an outfit post coming up soon with the red polka dot blouse, and I can't wait to wear the other pieces of clothing. The bracelet is especially lovely, can you believe it's from Primark!? I've been wanting to try both of the Garnier products for ages, and seeing as they were on offer I couldn't resist picking them both up. I'll be doing a proper review on both once I've worn them for long enough, but so far I'm loving them. I haven't worn any foundation for a few days, just the BB cream with a light layer of face powder on top!
