SS 2012 - Topshop

A number of shops have started to give us sneak peeks into their Spring/Summer collection, and I have to say I'm really excited. For a change, it's not just your typical nautical prints and pastel colours that seem to come back every Spring. Instead we're greeted with neon, cut-out details, exotic prints, sheer clothing and dipped hems.

So I thought I'd dedicate a few blog posts over the next month to my favourite pieces - starting with Topshop.

Looking through the Topshop collection has made me want it to be Spring now! I wish I could buy all of these items! 

I love the dipped hems of the two sheer shirts, making them perfect to be worn with leggings and heels on a night out. The velvet dress with the cut-out back is a gorgeous navy blue colour, which you'll be able to see better if you click on the link. The jeans look like they might be quite difficult to wear, but the fact that they are Leigh jeans makes them super comfy. I'd wear them with a plain slouched vest and boots. The tights and the socks are both fun and colourful, making them an easy item to jazz up a plain outfit. I'd wear both the jumper and t-shirt with light denim shorts and sandals for a relaxed summer outfit. And lastly, the skirt is so girly and pretty, perfect for dressing up with a black blouse and heels, or dressing down with a white t-shirt, socks and brogues.
