Miss Selfridge SS 2012

This post is part of a series I'm doing on my favourite pieces from various Spring/Summer collections on the high street.

Today I've chosen to look at Miss Selfridge, and I have to warn you, this post might be long because there's so much I like from their new lookbook! There's a mixture of urban culture, graphic bold prints, nautical stripes, preppy retro and bright colour blocking. So there's bound to be something for everyone!

Biker Jacket | Black & White Leggings | Aztec Print Dress

The graphic black and white prints really stand out, and both outfits could be worn dressed up or down, which is always good! I think the dress would look great worn now with a chunky cardigan and boots, and worn with bare legs and sandals in the summer time.

Chain Print Dress

Both dresses are perfect for nights out. Here the classic LBD is updated with a cut-out detail on the back, and the printed dress will make a nice fashion statement.

These shoes are great! I've always loved clashing colours, they're great for jazzing up a plain outfit.

Animal Print Skater Dress | Leopard Ankle Grazers

I've always loved animal print, so I'm glad to be seeing it in the shops more and more lately. These two outfits show that it can be worn casually as well as dressed up.

I definitely want to buy both of these outfits. The jumper is adorable, and the vest and acid wash shorts are perfect for a summers day.

I definitely need to invest in a black sheer shirt, and it's made more formal here with a lovely floral skirt.
