What I wore to an interview

I wore:
2-in-1 cardigan & shirt, Wallis
Trousers, Primark
Shoes, New Look

Make-up:

Max Factor second skin foundation
Garnier under-eye roll on
Rimmel match perfection concealer
Rimmel match perfection powder
17 eyebrow shaper
Maybelline falsies mascara
Benefit high beam
Revlon lip butter in tutti fruitti

So I mentioned I had a job interview recently, and this is what I wore. The brief was casual formal. I liked this outfit because I felt really comfortable in it. The 2-in-1 top was a present from my boyfriend nearly four years ago. It's stayed in such good condition as I save it for formal occassions. The make-up is pretty much my everyday go-to look. Hope this helped someone, as dressing for interviews can be a bit tough. I got the job so I must have been doing something right!

What would you wear to an interview? What do you think of this outfit?

My Best Friend's 21st Birthday and What I Wore

It was my best friend Laura's 21st birthday recently. We've been best friends since we were 8 years old! We went out for drinks and clubbing on one evening to celebrate.

I wore:

Dress (with belt), Primark
Shoes, New Look
Necklace, Primark

So that's me, Laura and our boyfriends. The dress I wore was an absolute bargain, only £7 in the sale! I don't think it even looks like it's from primark. I love it! Pink is one of my favourite colours but I don't really own any pink clothes, so this made a nice change. And I wore my favourite navy blue heels which I've had for about two years. This did mean I was about 3 inches taller than my boyfriend, but oh well!

Two days later I went to Go Ape with Laura and her family and some of our closest friends. I had no idea what to expect as I'd never been before. I'm generally not scared of much, I go on all the scary rides at theme parks and have never been scared of heights. But I definitely panicked at Go Ape! It was so scary and high up. And even though I was in a harness I was scared of falling. But I kept going and I completed the whole course, so I'm very pleased with myself!

You may also be able to see that I dyed my hair. Well, my boyfriend did. I really like the colour, although it's starting to fade already! Boo!

Have any of you been to Go Ape?

Graduation!

Dress, New Look

So I graduated last month. I got a 2.1 in Criminal Justice and Criminology! Since then I've moved back home with my parents and I've been applying for lots of jobs. This paid off yesterday when I got offered a job as an admin assistant at Asda, so I'm very happy! I have my induction tomorrow :)

Now that I'm settled here, I'm definitely going to get back into blogging! Coming up are some posts on what I wore to job interviews, and what I wore to my best friend's 21st birthday. I've also dyed my hair since these pictures and had a haircut, so you'll be seeing that soon too.
