OOTD: Peace Sign

Make-up:
Max Factor Second Skin Foundation
Garnier Under-Eye Roll-On
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer
Max Factor Creme Puff Face Powder
Bourjois Blush (Rose D'or)
Sleek Storm Eyeshadow Palette
Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara

I'm wearing:

Ark Vest
Ark Cardigan
Topshop Jeggings
Primark Boots
New Look Bag
Urban Outfitters Necklace
H&M and Topshop Rings
Accessorize Friendship Bracelet (Gift)

Finished uni now for four weeks, but it's definitely not gonna feel like a holiday. Got so much dissertation work, essay work and revision to do. I'll be going back home in a few days to spend some time with my family so that'll be nice. It's a shame I won't be back for Mother's Day though!

Don't know if you'll be able to tell in these pictures but I dyed my hair recently (well my boyfriend did). It's a bit darker than this in real life, I like it!

Recent Purchases: Ark, Primark, Boots and more..

Hi! I've been on two shopping trips lately and here's what I managed to pick up. I'm really pleased with my purchases so thought I'd show you. All of the items are pretty cheap too :)

Playsuit (£5) and PJs (£6), Primark

Two bargains here. The first playsuit will be perfect for wearing now with tights and in the summer without. It's an easy piece to just throw on. The Pj playsuit is so comfy and will be great to wear in the warm summer months.

Cardigan (£24.99) and Vest (£14.99), Ark

I've been looking for a cardigan like this for ages. It's gonna be great for the next few months seeing as it's getting too warm to wear a coat now, and it'll be perfect again come Autumn. It's the perfect fit and not too thick or thin. I also love the vest. I've been wearing a similar grey one with a skull on a lot, so I know I'll get a lot of use out of this one.

Tops (£4 and £8), Primark

I think both of these tops will be great with high waisted jeans or shorts for the Spring.

Top (£6) and Dress (£6), Primark

The dress is such a bargain, it's just a light cotton material and will be great with leggings. Can't wait to wear it. The top again is just an easy piece to throw on!

Shorts (£10), Primark

I always tend to buy too many tops and not much else, so I was determined to find a skirt or shorts today, and I found these shorts, which I think are going to be wearable all year round.

Clutch Bag (£7.99), New Look

I don't even own a clutch bag so I thought it was about time I got one. I think this will go with pretty much every evening outfit.

Rings (£2.99), H&M

I had the silver version of these rings but they've gone quite rusty now. But they're so cheap and I thought the gold ones would be slower to rust!

Max Factor Foundation (£12.99) and Powder (£5.99)

I've been finding my rimmel foundation too thick. I wanted something with lighter coverage for the Spring/Summer. I've purchased this foundation a few times before and loved it, but haven't used it in a year or two, mainly because it's a bit pricey, but I thought I'd get it again! Also needed a new powder.

Max Factor free gift

For spending over £15 on max factor, I got a free gift, which is great! It includes four minatures - two nail polishes, an eyeliner and a mascara - as well as a make-up bag. So I'm happy with that!

Let me know if you like any of my purchases :)

OOTD: Leopard Print and Pops of Colour

I'm wearing:

H&M Top
River Island Jeggings
Primark Belt
New Look Necklace
New Look Shoes

Just another uni outfit. I'm trying to inject more colour into my outfits seeing as it's nearly Spring! I spent the afternoon in town and bought a few nice things, I think I'll do a haul post next! My favourite purchases were a gorgeous mint coloured blouse from H&M and hairdye :)

Nails of the Day: Pastels

I used: Topshop Parma Violet and Barry M Peach Melba

I am definitely loving the pastel trend that seems to be everywhere this Spring. It can seem a little intimidating if you're like me and used to wearing more neutral colours. But I think pastel nails are a great way to ease into it!

I really want to try a pastel jumper and some shorts, these are gorgeous:

Are you loving the pastel trend?

Wishlist: Basics

Jumper, Topshop | Hoodie, Topshop
Cardigan, Topshop | Tshirt, American Apparel

Navy Top, H&M | Striped Top, H&M

Jeans, H&M | Scarf, H&M

Blouse, Dorothy Perkins | Shorts, New Look

 Belt, H&M | Sunglasses, H&M

Necklace, H&M | Rings, H&M

Basics are definitely one thing I seem to be lacking in my wardrobe. I don't know why, I just tend to overlook them when I go clothes shopping. So I made a wishlist of a few things I'd like to buy over the next few months. As you can probably see, most are from H&M and Topshop! They both seem really good for basics.
Hope you like this post, let me know where you buy your basics from :)

February Favourites

Barry M Nail Paint (Navy): I only bought this recently, but I know I love it because as soon as I removed it when it was chipped, I straight away applied it back on again. Navy is great for daytime or night time because it just seems to go with all of my outfits! And I only needed one coat. Definitely need to build up my Barry M collection!

Dove Intensive Hand Cream: The cold weather makes my hands quite dry and flaky, and this makes such an improvement! Definitely the best hand cream I've tried.

Sleek Storm Eyeshadow Palette: The colours in this are perfect for everyday wear. Been loving trying out different combinations.

Katy Perry Purr Purfume: Lovely purfume, it's very different to any I've tried before. It's quite musky and perfect for night-time. I'm no good at describing scents, so this is from the website:

This deliciously flirty accord opens with enchanting top notes of juicy sweet peach nectar freshened with dewy green bamboo and crunchy forbidden apple leading us down to a floral garden of white jasmine blossom, hot pink freesia and Bulgarian roses. All of this is then enveloped in exotic indulgent tones of vanilla orchid, warm white amber, creamy sandalwood and nuzzling skin musks.

Millenium Series: This series is awesome, I've nearly finished the second book. It's definitely a series that is hard to put down.

MilkyBar Mini Eggs: I think this is my third or fourth pack so far, I love them and wish they were around all year long. Definitely gonna have to stock up before Easter so I have a few to keep me going!
